Embedded Capacitance and Resistance PCB
This cutting-edge PCB integrates embedded resistors and capacitors within its layered structure, protected by a specially formulated polymer isolation layer with controlled surface roughness (Rz > 0.01μm). The 0.1μm minimum corner thickness provides excep
Welcome your inquiry
A printed circuit board (PCB) containing embedded resistors. From bottom to top, it includes: a first dielectric layer, embedded resistors, a circuit layer, and a second dielectric layer. Areas of the embedded resistors that are not covered by circuit layers are coated with a polymer isolation layer. The surface of this polymer isolation layer is roughened, with a surface roughness (Rz) greater than 0.01 μm. The thickness of the polymer isolation layer at corners is at least 0.1 μm.
This innovative PCB structure improves protection for the embedded resistors during subsequent wet processes (such as browning or micro-etching), preventing chemical corrosion. As a result, it enhances the manufacturing reliability and performance of buried resistor PCBs, further advancing the buried passive component technology in PCB fabrication.
